SAVIN is Pennsylvania's Victim Notification System. It is a state-wide application being implemented by the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Institute to assist victims of crime.  PA SAVIN is a free, confidential and automated service that helps victims, their friends and/or family along with any concerned citizen track the status of an offender housed in a county jail within the Commonwealth, including the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.  PA SAVIN allows Pennsylvania residents to receive real-time information about an offender's custody status, such as an inmate's release, transfer or escape.

 
SAVIN allows users to:

• Register to receive automated information about the transfer, release, or escape of an offender in a Pennsylvania county jail.
• Register to receive automated information about the custody status of an offender in Pennsylvania or another state.
