Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman announces the public offering of the following forfeited vehicle from a drug trafficker:

 

2002 Maserati 2-door Coupe; Color: Grigio Touring Metallic; V-8, 4.2 liter; Automatic; 53,897 miles, excellent condition.   

 

 

This luxury vehicle was one of seven (7) seized on July 26, 2008 by detectives in a series of nineteen (19) raids in the Pottstown area.  The raids were the result of a wiretap investigation targeting an organization whose principals sold large quantities of cocaine and marijuana.  Twenty five (25) individuals were arrested as participants in this Corrupt Organization.   More than 500 grams of Cocaine, six handguns, a clandestine Marijuana grow room, cellular telephones and cash were also seized by police. 

 

After it was seized, the Maserati was kept in an indoor facility.  When it was successfully forfeited to the District Attorney’s Office, routine maintenance was performed at a dealership which specializes in the care of this type of high performance vehicle. 

 

The Maserati, which is in excellent condition, is being offered to the public at Fuzzy Dice Auto Sales & Service, located at 773 Sumneytown Pike, Harleysville, Pennsylvania 19438.

The vehicle may be inspected at Fuzzy Dice Auto Sales & Service during regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 9 am to 7 pm and Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm).
